 Have no idea if its true or not...
I am an avid fan of AI and I have watched it every season and every episode so I REALLY hope this is untrue...but I actually saw a list of the top 12 posted on the American Idol message board when this season first started. The thread was very quickly deleted by moderators but it had said that the list came from one of the contestants that made the top 24 but not the top 12. I know that its probably all BS (and I hope for sure it is) because we are supposed to vote to get from 24 to 12 right? Anyway, I just thought it was kind of strange the way I saw this list when I didn't know anyone's name yet from the show and then the show starts and I'm seeing these people on AI and thinking yeah, these folks on this list are really good and will probably make the top 12. So here is the list that I saw (I actually wrote it down at the time thinking I could look at it later and see if it was true):
