Even when they said Thursday I figured Wednesday at Midnight. ( They like midnight for some reason )
Orlando Sentinel - CBS delays premiere of "Survivor: Gabon" by Hal Boedeker
CBS will push back the premiere of the next "Survivor" by a week.
"Survivor: Gabon -- Earth's Last Eden" will have a two-hour opener at 8 p.m. Sept. 25. Emmy-nominee Jeff Probst is the host.
The players will be announced Wednesday
Usually, CBS give the reality contest a week's jump on premiere week. Not this time.
The new season officially starts Sept. 22. CBS will try to use the full power of "Survivor" to blunt the competition.
CBS also wants to make a bigger deal in premiere week because "Survivor" will be in HD for the first time.
