Hmmm...well, Carlin Hagen is my son's high school guitar teacher at Lassen High School. He has been teaching at school this entire year, hasn't been gone but for a few days here and there, so he can't be a contestant.
But, maybe someone was sniffing in the right direction. Hagen's wife is a flutist for the Susanville Symphony in Susanville, CA, and word is that the conductor of the Symphony is a contestant, as someone apparently posted!
