Are they going to leave the U.S.?

Amazing race has been my FAVORITE show for quite some time....but they are losing me.

What have they had to do? Tour the eastern U.S.? Drive around in big SUV's?????

I am getting worried that in fact the show is "showcasing" the U.S., which will totally eliminate the part of the race where the players have to navigate through unknown territory, and work through language barriers. They would, hopefully, also have gained some appreciation for other cultures.....

One more week. That is it. If they don't leave then, its game over for me.

I believe they are not going to leave the usa, which just kills the show. You are exactly right on the language barriers and appreciation for other cultures, that's what makes the show worth watching week after week. If they dont leave the USA it could be because of the young children. (which I dont think they should be on the show in the first place) Hopefully next season they will get back to their 2 person teams.

There are way too many people on a team...lots of bickering among siblings (Weaver family) and bitchy moms (Paolo family). I think it might be a little too much for the kids to travel around the world and that's why they aren't leaving the US this time, but on the same token I don't like the show with kids on it...back to the two person teams around the world please!

I have a feeling you are right.

Originally I liked the idea of the children on the show (maybe because I like travelling with my family), but it seems they have drastically watered down the race due to the kids.

I wonder how one can write to them to voice ones opinion....hmmmm.

I agree b/c the show usually takes place in Africa and stuff like that.
I would love for the show to be in another place b/c there would be so much confrontation and difficulties along the way but some of these people know where to go so thats not fair.

Ya wat is up with the stinkin states! theres supposed to travel the world not their country! maybe its just cuz all the people and because of the kids and stuff! I'll watch for now but I still watch re runs and hope they change back to the old way! I liked it way better!
