where's the list of new players? Pics? Slowing down on the job are ya? LOL J/K Guess it won't be me. I'm applying to BB since its an rolling audition. Figure I'll send one a week. Can't hurt, might get into Survivor through the back door. I mean Jase was supposed to play Survivor and played BB instead. I think Ami tried out for the Amazing Race with her old girl friend and got Survivor.

But your right on Amazing or Survivor, there is no doubt they pool the names from all 3 shows then place people where they think they fit best. The list of criss-crossed players is much larger than Jase & Ami.

BB in Texas casting for " gay cowboy", not funny player, not smart player, not sneaky player but " gay cowboy" Can't imagine why casting has been a problem lately. Don't cast 12 good players but look to fill "roles"

Aren't we all looking for the elusive gay cowboy? I know I am. LOL
How about gay guy who people think is strait and has tats?? They haven't played that character yet. I think i'll have to sell them on that idea.

It's all about demographics to these people now. They think people like a show because people are a certain demograph. Thats like saying a white guy from Texas should like country music or a gay guy should like Madona and Cher. What they forget is that there is no rhyme or reason to why a show is suddenly a hit ( Like Survivor used to be ). Then, they try to recreate a phenom with their varriables and screw it up every time. Maybe, they should try not to over complicate why a show is a hit and just let it happen. That is what makes reality-reality. Its unpredictable and we can feel it when they try to manipulate the outcome for show. There will never be another season one and trying to clone it; feels like a cheep copy. I dunno about you but I see it. I see the TYPES that they put into their shows hoping to get the same result. It used to be that Jeff would frequently say that it is interesting how different people draw their lines differently and then they try to cast people that will fit their IDEA of a type that will appeal to the masses. I don't understand why they haven't figured it out yet, but if they don't soon these shows will not SURVIVE!

I agree totally, instead of trying to find the best 12 players, they have a pre game script and are trying to fill it.

The dumb blonde with boobs
The asshole
The religious person
ect.............
Thats my problem--how many guys in line ahead of the Gay cowboy were by passed because they were not gay but may have been great players? If he's a good player and HAPPENS to be gay thats great but lets not cast based on gay, boobs, tatoo's, ect....

its so true and I would like nothing better than to play one of them on the merit that I am a good game player and LOVE strategy games. However, if I have to sell myself as a "TYPE" to get onto BB or backdoor into SURVIVOR ( which is my goal ), then I will do it. I'll play their game. No big deal. I've sent in one tape marketing myself as a character type and that if thats what they are looking for then to call me back. Guess we'll see. I hate it, it cheapens myself, but I'll crawl on my belly a little bit and grovel at the CBS exec. feet at a chance to play. If thats what it takes. I guess. Tried it the other way and that didn't work.

I guess I've lost my belief in the purity and sanctity of these games. No more illusions now. Its all smoke and mirrors.

Big Brother returns July 13th.

CBS-Think this winters season of Big Brother was intense with its hospitalizations, emotional breakdowns and bible thumping evildoers? Just wait till you see whats in store for summer. "We've found some very extreme personalities with very extreme points of view" Expect a wider age spread too. After Evel Dick won BB 8 and Sheila placed 3rd in BB 9, older wannabes are banging down BB's door. " They're seeing that the younger constestants are impulsive and explosive and do themselves in", " The older ones now feel they've got a real shot at the money'

After CBS threatened to cancel BB if it didn't tone down the language and sex--seems nothing will change.

Black person from low income--hates white people

Rich person--snob

Militant gay person

White power person-hates gays

ect...................................All that built in "live feed " fighting

Interesting CBS saw Adam, Natalie & Ryan as the bible thumping evil doers and James ( who tried to masterbate on another player ) and Chelsia ( who wiped her period blood over another players personal items ) were "good" guys.


Seems plan B was Fans of BB vs Reality TV show veterans. Natalie from Micronesia said she got a call to be on.
