Big Brother 10: Dan Wins 7 to 0

Julie Chen welcomes us to the Big Brother 10 Show Finale. With only Renegades Dan and Memphis left in the game, the moves shift to the Big Brother 10 jury who will decide which of the two finalists will win the five hundred thousand dollar prize.

With Dan and Memphis making a deal to the end, the Renegades work to keep each other safe. Allying with Keesha and Renny, the foursome work the house and with all the power in their hands, they control eviction after eviction. Jerry stuns the house by winning the Head of Household. Dan and Memphis work to make a deal to assure that both of them are not on the block together. Jerry nominates Keesha and Dan. When Memphis wins the Power of Veto, he removes his ally Dan and Renny, one of his alliance replaces him and is sent home. Dan and Memphis continue the win and Keesha is sent packing next when Memphis sends Keesha packing. Down to the final three, Dan and Memphis keep the power in their hands, and Dan chooses Memphis to face the jury members with him.
Since joining forces in week four, Dan and Memphis have worked together to get to the finale, but now they have to go to head to head for the win. When Jerry goes to the jury house, there is a chilly reception and a heated argument once Jerry arrives and they realize that they have been played. Libra feels that Jerry was not the gentlemanly old man that people thought he was, and she won't be upset to see him there. Michelle says that with Jerry there, the two evil people are there. She feels that Memphis made an alliance with Dan, and Jerry says that they played them to the hilt. Jerry says that together they were a force to reckon with. Keesha says that she couldn't believe that Jerry put her and Dan up when he could have put Memphis up and gotten him out. Jerry and Renny got into a shouting match when he tells her to be quiet and listening. Renny says that Memphis is cold and unemotional. Keesha says that Memphis was cool and she still loves Dan even after all this. April says that Dan is heartless. Renny says that you have to get into his head and he is a very immature young man. Libra says that Big Brother is a game of lying and cheating and throwing people under the bus. Ollie says that he has to give it to Dan because he played a great game. Michelle tells that she went on a trip with Dan. Jerry just finds out about this and she says that he picked her to schmooze. She says, "Oh the games people played." Keesha says that Dan played a good game and that Memphis just laid back and stayed quiet. It is brought up that she was played and used until they no longer needed her in he game. Jerry says that Memphis was strategic when he got Dan to do his dirty work from him. April says that Memphis played a stronger game than Dan did. Renny says that she can't give a half a million dollars to someone who won no Head of Households and didn't get his hands dirty in the game. They wonder if they are that gullible and decide that since they are sitting there, they are.

The jurors gathered to question the final two. Libra speaks to them first and asks Dan what his most strategic moves in the game. He says that it was getting Michelle back doored, something he didn't want to do. April asks Memphis why she should vote him the win when he never had a relationship with her in the house. Michelle asks Dan about the jury house roulette. She wants to know why he chose her to go on the trip with him and wants to know why she was back doored. He says that he wanted to make amends with her because he did play dirty with her. He said that he couldn't have back doored her without his alliance's support. She asks Memphis why she should vote him to win when he purposefully didn't win and it was that she was a hard competitor and someone that he knew he couldn't beat. He says that he wasn't the first to jump onboard, but he did vote her out. Ollie asks Dan why he put his girlfriend's name into the deal. He says that he had only five minutes left in him and if he could make him believe that he was playing the same way, shameful or not, he had to convince him that he was going to be honest. Renny asks Memphis what he ever gave her in the game? He says that he was upfront with her. Keesha asks him why her, why Jerry over her? She wants to know if he has any remorse? He says that it was the hardest move he had to make in the house, but from a game standpoint he had to do it, and it bothers him that he might have ruined a friendship that he may never get back? Jerry says that he showed a lot of arrogance and Dan replies that other than throwing the card, he kept his emotions within himself. Jerry says that he hopes that he respected him because he respects him. Memphis says that that he didn't have to make that decision and he wouldn't know what he would do until he had to do it and Dan points out that perhaps Memphis didn't want the win of final Head of Household so that he wouldn't have to make that choice. Jerry thanks him for his honesty.

Final Speeches:
Memphis says that he tried to make a business plan to get him to the final two. His goal was to make the others need his vote. He says that he only threw two HOH competitions and he played the game straight forward and this is how he is in real life. He says that if it is him they think played the better game, vote for him, and if not vote for Dan. He says that he will see them soon.

Dan says that when he walked into the house he saw personalities that were great, physically fit people, and people who would excel in physical, endurance, and mental competitions. He realized that he doesn't excel in any of the areas that others did, and he realized that he had to excel with his head. When he played the jury roulette game, his goal was to make Ollie and Michelle mad at him so that he could get Memphis to take him to the end, knowing that some in the jury would dislike him.

April says that she liked Memphis' speech more than Dan's and Michelle says that both played a good game and which are they going to choose?

The jury joins the live show. Libra is welcomed, followed by April, and Michelle. Ollie is next. Renny appears and curtsies. Keesha joins her. Jerry follows last.

Julie congratulates Dan and Memphis on getting to the final two. She asks both Dan and Memphis to explain in one word how it felt to face the jury. Dan uses the word intense to describe the jury questioning and Memphis says it was a firing squad, but it was good for them to be able to express their feelings to them.

Libra is first to cast her vote. She says that contrary to popular belief, this is not an easy game. She says that may the best man win.

April says that it is great to see them and thank them for all the experiences that they shared this summer.

Michelle says that it was a crazy ride and congratulates them. Dan calls her the Rhode Island Princess.

Ollie says that it was an unforgettable summer, good and bad and they will remember it for the rest of their lives.

Renny greets them and says that as a business woman it was an easy decision and in the game of life and in TV games, that people shouldn't take for granted the little things of good morning, how are you and it is important to get in touch with a person's human level. Dan greets her as Momma Renny.

Keesha says that she looks at both of them like little brothers and she loves them both to death. Dan promises not to scare her tonight and she replies, "Promise?"

Jerry says that he tried to get rid of them but they kept sticking around and he has a lot of respect for both of them and he is making his decision based on kindness and good luck. Dan and Memphis both call hi to the "Colonel."

Julie explains that the first four houseguests are the only one with access to the goings on in the house and says that they have been watching all season. She adds that now that the votes are locked they are going to reveal to the others what has been going on in the house.

Julie welcomes Brian, Steven, Angie, and Jessie. Brian is asked about his prediction about Dan and Memphis and the way they played the game. Brian congratulates them and says that throughout the entire game it never became personal, and stayed a game to get where they did. Brian wonders why Ollie threw the temper tantrum, and he was surprised that he did it. Michelle reacted when she lost the trip to Hawaii by attacking Libra as a mom and then they were attacking Keesha's physical appearance. Julie asks Steven who's behavior surprised him the most? Steven says that it was Jerry swearing he kept his word and then he didn't keep his word, saying horrible things. Jerry is asked to respond and he says that when someone brings religion into it, it made him use religion back and it was a little off color and a little out of line and it made the Bible and religion going away.

Julie tells that there was no plant and no season long America's Player, but one player was asked to do America's bidding for one week. Julie shows a clip revealing that it was Dan. They laugh when Dan had to hug Jessie for ten seconds. Michelle shakes her head when Dan has to evict Jessie. Jessie says that he thanks America for sending him home. Jessie goes on, and it seems like he is emotional about it, knowing that America cast their vote to evict him. Michelle says, "I knew it!"

Julie announces a twenty-five thousand dollar jury prize and says that America voted for one of the seven jury members to win it. She says that it will be announced later in the evening.

Julie announces that it all comes down to this moment. Julie pulls the keys from the voting box and reveal which juror voted for whom. Julie reminds them that it takes four votes to win.

Libra voted for Dan for the win.
April voted for Dan for the win.
Michelle voted for Dan for the win.
Ollie voted for Dan for the win.
Dan wins Big Brother 10!

Both men leave the house to a deluge of confetti and Dan hugs Monica who hurries out of her seat for a long hug and then returns to her seat. Dan hugs his mom. Memphis is getting hugs all around and one is a blond I don't recognize, so it is probably his girlfriend, Ashley. A smiling Michelle hugs Dan and congratulates him.

Renny cast her vote for Dan.
Keesha cast her vote for Dan.
Jerry cast her vote for Dan.

Julie announces America's Choice vote. She says that Jerry was a close second place but Keesha won the America's choice vote! Julie thanks us for tuning in and closes the Season Finale.
