In fact, it turns out that Nickelodeon has been showing episodes from the final season at certain times in the past (and this week was no exception as I found out by a somewhat of an accident that Nick was showing "new" episodes during this whole week). Personally I like Blood Ties better of the two. I was really disappointed when I heard the series was canceled but at least they are putting out Blood Ties Season 2 on DVD.
