| Ok. It's one thing to be ostentacious and obnoxious but carrying an unlit cigar in your hand all day and conspiculously positioning it for the camera at every opportunity is just plain re-donkulous. If you saw the show you know what I'm talking about. Just one of the many things that annoyed me about this show. I had high hopes since there's nothing else on Wednesday to watch but the combination of Martha's insipid screen presence, lame-duck sidekicks, Donald knock-off structure and weak one-liners that limp the show along makes this an easy call - I've got to say this one is a dud. |

If Martha is looking at refreshing her image she is going about it the wrong way. Tell me in 2005 would we see a clown strutting around with a giant cigar. I am from a city where smoking is not allowed almost every where. The country does not allow advertising and stores are not allowed to display smoking products. The CEO looked like a fool trying to look powerful but I thought he was looking for Monica. I give it one more show and if cigar is still there then its good bye |

| I was disappointed in the new show. Although I admire Martha Stewart, the format was exactly the same as Donald's. What works for him will not work for her. There is nothing new and her sidekicks are not dynamic. What is with not having any minority contestants? I didn't see one black, hispanic or asian contestant. I won't be watching. |

The creative team is going to disappear....fast. Jim reminds me strangely of wife-abuser Jonathan from The Amazing Race; he's gone soon. Jeff (I think that's his name) was an awful dictator; he should have listened to the team. The book was absolutely dreadful...trust me, they'll lose a few more challenges. Back to the original point of the thread, that cigar is stupid. And, what's with the connection between the cigar guy and one of the contestants? Don't they do background checks to make sure that the contestants have nothing to do with the producers, Martha, or her "eyes and ears"? Overall, it's a big thumbs down. Sorry Martha, but you really don't belong in The Donald's domain. |

| I think he thinks that it makes him seem very important but actually it makes him look like a total jerk and a clown which I am sure he is. I can't believe that Martha doesn't say to him get rid of the cigar the same way the Donald told some tobacco chewing guy to stop the habit on an earlier show. |
