They are almost certainly better musicians.

The best musicians in the world are session guys. INXS gets to rehearse as long as they want on a limited number of songs. These guys have to be perfect on a whole new show of songs every week. Including 2 original works this week.

It's like, at the Hollywood Bowl, which is better - the LA Philharmonic, or the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra? The HBO is all session guys. The do it perfect, the first time, every time, or they're gone back to Kansas.

OTOH, INXS, and especially Andrew Farriss, WROTE some pretty terrific stuff.

I'd like to see The House Band go out on tour with the final 4 or 5 singers (Ok...except JD. He Sucks) that don't make the band. It would be a hell of a lot better than the Am. Id. losers tour.

In my house, we've said numerous times that we want THB to hire the runner up (as long as it isn't JD) and be the opening act for INXS on their tour... just dreamin' I know, but still, it's a nice thought.

It would be nice that the house band takes the runner up and they go on tour. If INXS takes on JD and runner up is Marty...then they show them up with big sales of CD's etc..that be cool. Anybody but Suzie pleeeeeeeeease!!!
