I see the poll hopes for Marty. That is my first choice and MiG is my second and if people want to keep (Sidney) Australia ...then MiG is their man. I've been downloading their music the more I listen I'm thinking MiG. Marty does alot of screaming

Marty's band, the Lovehammers, have a site where you can listen to some clips of their music. I've been pleasantly surprised that a lot of it isn't the screamy, metal rock style that I just don't care for. On his more melodic songs, you can really get a feel for what he'd sound like doing INXS. I definitely think he has talent... but we'll see what happens.

MiG has been my personal favorite since day one, but until I hear him sing INXS, I'm going with Marty to win. For some reason, I don't see MiG's voice being suited to sing the back catalogue...

Marty's awesome but I think he would be better suited in playing in a rock band. THe guy has done the best covers of Nirvana I've seen....

I have been a huge INXS fan since 1984. I have seen them in concert 3X and have many tapes / cd's. I have been watching the show (the only 2 hrs. of tw a week) relgiously all summer.
These are my thoughts.

Marty- I vote for him at least 3 times a show. I think he is versital, unique and kind of cute. Marty seems nervous, smart and helpful to the other contestants. I hope he wins but don't think he will.
Mig- Very good talent, great stage performer and unique good looks. He will win.
Jordis- Nice sweet voice. She is not right for INXS. Can't sing upbeat fun or powerful songs.
Suzie - Good however, I don't see a woman being the lead for INXS. Plus I still remember her forgetting the words on night 1.
JD - psycho. creep. go back to being Elvis.
Why does he have to change all the song to make them HIS own????
If he wins all my tapes and cd's go in the trash.
I think I will cry.

You know what? JD's going to win. I can just feel it. Like little spiders on my skin. Creepy. But it's that theory - the one where anything that can go wrong will go wrong in the most spectacular way? Muphy's law. JD's going to win. *sigh*

Greeneyez, puh-leeeeeeze .... DON'T GO THERE! Ever heard the theory that what you think about the most and dwell upon, you move closer to? Okay, having said that, please don't go there! Although I firmly believe that if INXS chooses JD, they get what they deserve, and everyone else gets BETTER, ... I just can't stand the thought of JD perceiving that he "won". Nooooooo! Truly, the best chance INXS has of reviving their career is if they select MIG. They really might go somewhere with this dude. However, I don't believe Suzie, nor Marty really want to sing with INXS, they just want the exposure. (Can you blame them?) The best scenario for me would be if JD were NOT selected ("You lose, dude!!!!") and they select *anyone* else and "anyone else" turns them down. THEN .. I would laugh for an hour following the finale and die a happy "aging rock star fan." There, I said it.

cwalton? Do you actually watch this show or just admin this forum (fabulously, by the way)? If you watch, like regularly, who do you really think they're going to pick?

I'm standing by my fallback prediction of JD because... well, to be honest, because I can't pick reality TV winners. EVER. In the entire history of reality TV I have never, ever picked a winner as my favorite. So that rules out MiG and Marty, leaving us with JD and Suzie, and I'm not buying into the whole Suzie idea.
