J/K But gosh I want the next season to start right now. Why don't they do three a year? I need my fix so I'll start from season 1 and work forward again.

Should only be a couple week until they announce the new cast. That's usually 4 weeks ahead of the season. I'm still recovering from the holidays which aren't even over yet.

Do you realize that the entire season has been shot and put in the can? They've already had the final tribal council. That seems so strange to me. Jeff Probst and Mark Burnett know who the winner of next season is right now. They know what order to read those final votes in.

When you follow such a group of people for a month, you can't help but feel a sense of emptiness when they are gone. I enjoyed Season 17, there were some great contestants, game-playing and a few firsts that I really enjoyed.
I am really looking forward to the next season, I marked it on my calender (February 12th!) so that my family and I can watch it.

I agree, it is indeed strange.
Here we are, waiting in anxiousness for something that, to us, seems hasn't happened yet, when actually it has and the events that we will be witnessing live with America has actually happened months ago.

Its the anticipation, like a building climax, that is sweat to find its release. This next season though, I have a Thursday Western Civ. class till 9:30 pm so I'll have to wait to catch it on Friday morning on the cbs site.
Oh well, gotta do what I gotta do. School is more important ( kindda ). I'll have to get up b4 work to watch it and post exit questions on Friday.

...and THAT is what Tivo is for... I couldn't live without my Tivo.

I actually capture it direct to my Mac also. That's where I get all of the screen shots. It's easy to go through the show, frame by frame, and capture those special moments...
