HA! I was wondering if that would stir up some discussion. I was going to name Obama in that rant, but decided not too.

...and to answer your question, politics! LOL!

But then, Survivor is all about politics, isn't it?

I kindda knew it. LOL It is sad that our nation has reverted to the Roman/Greek Republic that fell apart because of good oration and lack of wisdom. Its the Plebians and the Patritions all over again. Nice to see that history repeats itself again. Those who don't study history are doomed to repeat it. SIGH! Looks like we'll just have to repeat it until we get it right. Or until the great revealing! I wonder which will come first?

The guy didn't put on any weight before Survivor because he wanted to project the professional image of a coach. So, he is slowly starving. They don't gt much sleep out there. My guess? Lack of food and sleep made him goofy. There are other explanations. Maybe he didn't want to put the jacket down, maybe he always carries his jacket that way. What I saw was a guy who very carefully folded his jacket over his arm when he went to write. I haven't seen such old fashioned manners since my grandfather. I thought that was kind of sweet.

Also, keep in mind that you see exactly what the producers want you to see, no less no more. When I did some digging on the net about the guy? I found out that under that rather egotistical exterior you see on Survivor is a born again Christian with a very sweet nature. However, you have to look for it. He doesn't put it out there for all the world to see.

I figure that if I did a solo ocean Kayak trip of 6000+ miles? My ego would be pretty big too. You don't lose that especially if you have to draw on those skills daily as a coach (which, sadly, he no longer is for the time being.)

I say give the guy a break. What do I know? I'm just a Christian advocating for a brother in Christ. I like the guy in spite of his often goofy behavior. I think he's kind of cool.

I'm not really trying to attack the guy in a personal manner. However, after watching every season, i tend to notice patterns in people and in this game. If you go back to fans vs. favs, remember when Joel took control too early? He got Mary and then Mikey B out. He flexed too soon, and people in this game notice things like that. It could all be in the editing, but I really feel he's showing too much of his hand too fast. It always works against a person in this game. I could be wrong and he could be a first to really do it and pull it off, but the odds are against him at this point. Don't forget, even though Candace is out of the game, she still left the seeds of doubt about him behind her. Coach is gonna have to get those tares out as soon as they crop up or he's gone.
Its nothing against Christians, As a matter of fact, one of my favorite winners is Vessepia, from Marquesas. Loved her game and how she played it. She was defiantly led by that "still small voice". That is the only way she could have won it. Her faith got her through it quite masterfully!
