Taj seems to be pretty likable and strong but was it a bad idea for her to mention her husband being Ed George? Apparently he's a big deal and she must have some money... I think she's going to get screwed because her tribe will feel she is "undeserving".

She should have kept her mouth shut. If I was playing, I'd either take her to the end and use her to say she doesn't need the money or use her as an easy vote out later on. I do like her though.

She's currently one of my favorites this version. I think I'm going to enjoy seeing her muscle her way through the challenges, it's been way too long since we've had a strong, likeable, woman who isn't in her 20s.

As bad of a game move as it was, I'll give her props for revealing who her husband was in a very non-pretentious way. If she gets to the end, I doubt that she's going to take home the money just because I doubt she really needs it. Her husband is the former NFL guy and she was a singer with a group that sold over 6 million records.

I do hope she makes it far though.

Yeah I like her a lot as well. She does seem to keep it real. I'd keep her around just because of her personality. Her being rich though, does count against her. I'm a little surprised that they put Brendan in the game. He's not a bad guy either, but he doesn't need the money at all. He should team up with her later on and reveal his little secret to her. They can be the Millionaire Duo! That would be a sure fire way that the two of them could get by or at least have someone that they know they can rely on in this game. We'll see how it all plays out.

Jeff said in some interview last season that people take into account how much a person "needs" to win when they vote. Poor people fare better.

I'm thinking that the casting director threw in a couple rich people just to see how others' would react to that aspect of them. Does money really influence who you vote for?

The flip side is that it's cool to say "I was on the tribe with *famous person*!". They may keep them around because of the fame.

but not the money.

I think they caught her by suprise in the conversation about what her husband did. I wish she'd have already thought of a way around telling people who she was married to. I like Taj alot. She's probably my favorite player this season. I just hope the revelation doesn't back fire on her.

Strong? Replace that with fat/grossly overweight and we're a lot more accurate.

Did you see her in that challenge with the rain where they had to get the balls through the hoop? She was moving through people with other people hanging on her. She didn't slow down.

Did you see her hold that weight to WIN the challenge for her team last week? Just because she's not 120 pounds doesn't mean that she's not strong.

She's strong both physically and mentally. She's putting together the secret alliance.

I think that she qualifies as one of the strongest players on the show. Her and JT rule.

Yeah, I wouldn't consider her weak either. She has done quite well in the challenges, better than some of the men on her team. She's got a lot more going for her than most this season (namely Coach and Tyson) and she's got a secret alliance that will more then likely get her into one of the top 4 positions, if it holds.
We'll see though, four people against 10 is a hard thing to maneuver through. It will have to be done with finesse. I have no doubt that Brenden has the ability to bring it together and Taj to stick with it, its Stephen that I'm worried about flipping on them. He's already said that he has the Idol and he's gonna hold onto it with all his might. I don't like the guy, to me he's as weak a player as he said he feared he would be. I do think Sierra will stick with the program, I do like her. She was a tough chick to build that crappy shelter with a fever and step throat while not looking for the hidden idol. That and kudos for having to put up with coach's crap. She should win on that fact alone.
Well see though, I hope that secret alliance holds. Out of the remaining players, I want one of them to win, well with the exception of Stephen.
