how do you rate survivor tocantins

on a scale of 1-10 (1 being worst season - 10 being best season)

location was good
castaways were amusing
tribal councils were pretty good
immunity challenges were good

i give it an 8!

Survivor Tocantins is one of the better ones. My all time favorite will always be, Survivor Outback, but this one is following closely. I still feel the wrong one won. I thought it should have been Taj or Brendan They both had more class!

I agree that Survivor Outback was the very best season. Using Survivor Outback as my standard for a 10, I will rate this season as a 6.5 - 7.

My problems with this year are:

Way too many food and Luxury rewards.
Too many bogus blindsides. (How can it be a blindside the first tribal council?)
No real survivor hardships.



Suggestions for next season:

Give them the means to obtain food, not the food itself.
More hardship conditions.
More living off the land is needed.
Reveal Hidden idol after the vote! (See some very smug faces turn to tears.)
Have two exile locations. One is Spartan and stark with a clue to the hidden idol. The other is great food and shelter with no hidden idol clue. Have the person going make a blind draw to determine which one they will visit.

whats so good about Survivor Australian Outback? I haven't watch it yet. Can anyone tell me what so good about it?

Outback is good because it is....
Good cast, FRESH ideas, some of the worst conditions we have seen the survivors in!
Outback was fun
Although I get Africa and Outback mixed up in my head.
Both are my favorites a lot of similarities. Both inland, and extremely hot and dry, big vast distances, great scenery... and... it is a lot of fun to watch the survivors suffer...

It is truly the best of all of the seasons. It is available in DVD at best buy. If you want to see how hard this game can be, watch it. I also agree that it is the best season and the standard that I measure all other game against. I too rank this season as one of the better ones and give it an 8 overall.

Hello, I can't be objective. Indeed, i'm French and I discovered Survivor with the eighteenth season.

In France, we have a kind of Survivor : "Koh-Lanta". I really would like to say the french version is the best but I'm not Coach and lying is not one of my hobbies (oo I'm so rough with the Michael Scott of Survivor who was convinced he was liked by all the survivors). After the first episode, I decided to stop the pathetic under-Survivor. If I want to rate in comparison with what i knows in this sort of real-TV, I have to put nine and the only reason i don't give ten is the margin i want to keep.

This is actually the first show in which the one I was pulling for won. The only thing I didnt like was when JT and Steven went back on their word and voted Taj out. That was a very bad move. JT would have won anyway and would have picked Steven to the final.

I agree with the opinion on the hidden idol played AFTER the votes are read. So far it hasnt really been a factor in many shows. The worse move was the guy letting the girls talk him out of it and then getting voted off. I dont remember which show it was. Most of the time the owners of the idol get voted off with it in their posession.
