Not that I'm saying Coach can't tell the truth, but there are a number of flaws with lie detector tests, especially ones carried out by the one taking them, rather than a neutral party like Jeff Probst. For one, the bare truth that he was captured by natives may have been true, but most likely the extravagant story he told while on the show was nothing more than a gross exaggeration. Second, like I said way back when the reunion aired, he may be so caught up in his own stories that, whether they are true or not, he believes they are, so they appear true on the polygraph.
You gotta love Coach, but at the same time, there's no way you can't be skeptical about him and his far-out tales either.
