 if he's not voted off soon, he's going to do his best to hurt someone bad.. OK heres a spoiler--in episode #3 Russel kills 3 of the women. There is little doubt in my mind he has probably abused women in the past and, perhaps, even now.. Talked to his wife, she amazed people figured this out with only 4-5 15 sconds clips to work with. When he burned his tribe mate's socks, what do you think he was thinking.. 'Oh, this will certainly make him uncomfortable'? Like hell, he's hoping the guy develops bad blisters that will get infected and will get him booted off the show! Like the water it was done to fracture the tribe when they begain pointing fingers at each other--it failed so be happy. Sorry, I never saw an iota of respect showing for ANY women on his tribe Respect is earned, so far we have seen the "dumb girl" allaince fall hook line and sinker for his BS. Then marisa outs herself at TC and gets voted off. The other hearing Marisa point out that he said the same crap to them too don't "get" it and remain quit. So why should he respect their gameplay when they have shown none yet?

Russell also told the Survivor cameras that he's running the game this 19th season. His big brother, Shawn, says that's the way Russell always acts. "He's a little bit out there," Shawn said. Shawn said that Russell is following the game plan he outlined before he went on the series. As the villain, Russell plans to make his competitors' lives miserable, create chaos in the camp and pick them off one at a time. "He's a strategizer," Shawn said. "It's not the fact that he wants to beat people up and hurt people.

Burning that guy's socks went way beyond the norm.. They are in a wet, humid jungle climate, in case you didn't notice, were the slightest sore can become infected very quickly.. Without socks that player will very likely develop blisters that could easily become infected, in this regard Russell could be held responsible, as well as the show itself.. Any player who would stoop to that kind of game play is a real SOB.. Perhaps Russell is, like you seem to think, really just a sweetheart in wolf's clothing, personally I'm damn glad I'm not his wife.. He obviously has no respect for women and I can well imagine how he treats her.. But then you don't seem to have much respect for us either.. I'm not surprised you like him so much.. One more note, this guy, by his own words, is a millionaire, right? So why is he on the show in the first place? He doesn't need the money, could it be, like Charlie Manson, he just wants the world to see the 'puppet master' at work? Manson was nothing if not a megalomaniac, Russell seems to fall into that category quite nicely.. |

Of coarse, if Russell or another male player went to the guys and pulled the same BS on them, somehow I doubt if you would see it as a 'dumb guy' alliance, right? Ozzy, James, ect... Survivor is litttered with males who did dumb things and I laugh when they were blindsided and sent home for it. I like he is shaking up the game-and when he gets caught and booted by the "people" he controls I will laugh at him too. Have I made posts personal against any poster? all I have done is post my thoughts or opinions, same as you. I don't agree with some of your opinions but they ARE your opinions--we all have them. As long as you and I agree to disagree without insults to each thats what a forum is for--to trades thoughts, ideas and opinions--in a civilized manner

| Gee, calling women 'dumb' and not deserving of respect because some jerk comes up to them and lies through his teeth to them, isn't insulting at all....  Your right, let's just agree to disagree about this creep and keep the name calling of his innocent victims (so far) to a minimum.. Calling a woman, (blond or otherwise) dumb because she believes another person's lies is uncalled for.. That's not to say I may not end up agreeing with you on some future episode but, personally, I'd like to give those gals he's duped a chance first before resorting to calling them 'dumb' or anything else.. I expect there will definitely be a few gals AND guys on the show that leave a lot to be desired as far as game play is concerned..  |

| comparing someone who burnt a guys socks to charles manson is absolutely ridiculous... russel is a prick... he is deliberately lying and acting like a womanizer so fools watching will get all worked up... then probably even tell their friends about russel manson! enough chatter at work amongst friends...and others become curious...and poof...ya hooked on survivor! how do you really know this guy isn't a good hearted man in real life? i don't like the way he lied about losing his german shepherd in katrina... that was just wrong... but im not going to accuse him of being some kind of an insane puppy killer... if he keeps lying and purposely doing things to make others miserable...then watching russell get the boot will be all the more enjoyable... just like last season's ben "ex-coach" wade... just a different season...different douche bag! |
