Charlie Manson on Survivor:Samoa?

I kid you not, folks.. I just saw a documentary on TLC about Charlie Manson and his 'girls' and this Russell dude is the spitting image of Charlie! He not only looks a great deal like him but absolutely acts like him too..

Like the real Manson this guy is obviously a megalomaniac, thinking he is the smartest guy in the world and certainly smarter then any woman.. He HATES women, that much is certain, and I really wonder about Survivor's screening abilities for new players..

Of coarse, I can only hope, as time goes by, that the women on his tribe quickly come to realize they are dealing with a real sicko, the trouble is, when and if they do realize it, what will this creep do? He honestly seems like the type of guy, to me, if pushed too far by any of the woman, would not be above smashing a rock over her head or knocking her teeth out..

Do the producers, when screening these people, ever do background checks on them?

Somehow, I have no doubt, this little Hitler has done some abuse to women in the past.. He personally scares the **** out of me and after just one episode with him on it, I'm really nervous for any of those gals if they cross him..

I can only hope all the tribe members either catch him in the act of doing what he did with the canteens and the socks the first night or get wise to his double-dealing very fast..

He's just one real sick dude..

So far Russel has not got his "girls" to killing @ dozen people or march a million into gas ovens so I think Charlie Manson or Hitler is a little overboard. So he called the blondes dumb--maybe they are, remember we are seeing 40 minutes of 72 hours of filming!

I think Survivor is wrong for thinking they can put a psycho like this on a show and put people in danger and we will all just sit by and idly watch and say oh, well...it's just game play or oh it's ok he's not as bad as Hitler or Manson. Next you'll tell me that if he hurts someone it's just part of the game?

I'd rather think we are smart enough to tell Survivor to get as far away from us as possible til Russel is gone.

Shame on you casting directors and producers. It wasn't necessary and you ruined the show for me.

RIGHT ON!! couldn't have said it better myself..my hubby and I were shocked at the way he acted last nite..and want him GONE!!! He spoils the entire show and we have watched Survivor since it started and have NEVER seen anyone as inhuman as him!!

Pawpaw, how do you know what this dude has done in his past?? As for calling these girls 'dumb' because he's going behind their backs and manipulating them just proves to me you aren't much of a decent person yourself.. You call them dumb because they don't know what's going on? How the hell are they SUPPOSE to KNOW when he's doing it all on the sly?

Both Manson and Hitler loathed women, used them, manipulated them and both men were terrified of them.. Russell absolutely talks and acts just like Manson and shows a real hatred toward all women.. His backstabbing desire to be (in his words) 'the puppetmaster' is EXACTLY the way Hitler felt about the human race in general..
I think the show has done a real disservice to women everywhere by even having this creep on and ANYONE who would burn someone's socks or empty out canteens in order to make then suffer is absolutely one sick dude!

Too bad you aren't on the show in his tribe.. Somehow your defense of him makes me a bit ill..

Based on a couple 15 second clips you compare a person to a mass murder or a guy who commanded people to go kill in his name--why?

Because he called some girls dumb? Got mad at one for messing his game up? Big deal!!!!

ITS A GAME PEOPLE! ! ! ! ! ! He's rotten. YES! That's why they put him in the game. He has a very unique strategy that, if it works, deserves him the million. This is the most unique way I've ever seen anyone use manipulation in all the 19 seasons I've seen. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of it, but I have to respect it. It is a brilliant game plan. I'm actually impressed. I do want him to get caught though. I don't like the things that he says. I do want him to lose, but on the off chance that he gets to the end using these tactics well...............

This guy is sick and I would say that about anyone who would stoop to emptying out canteens and burning another players socks which could easily, in that kind of environment, create blisters and a chance of infected sores..

Yes, I know full well the producers picked him BECAUSE of his vicious way of playing the game, however, this time they may well regret it in the end.. We'll just have to see..

I said he REMINDS me of that weasel Manson and that little goose-stepper, Hitler, because he DOES remind me of them..
Russell is one evil dude and there is little doubt in my mind, as much as he hates women, and he has certainly made THAT clear, that he has few, if any, redeeming qualities..

And my gut tells me even some of the worse players such as Richard Hatch and Johnny 'Fairplay' are and were pikers when compared to this rotten dude..
After all I never noticed either of them attempting to sabotage a tribe mate in hopes that they might get hurt and therefore voted off..

And yes, that is my opinion after just ONE episode.. Stink can't hide it's smell and Russell stinks to high heaven..

If you had said " I hate Russel because how he plays and hope they blindside him soon" I wouldn't said anything--you would hardly be the only one. It was the whole comparing him to mass murders and such based on a few selected ( by survivor) clips that I didn't understand.
