Jeff calling out Ben like that was not cool. He needs to be a little more neutral as a host. I'd almost say that something like that dances on either trying to influence him out or influence Ben to behave. Either way, Jeff shouldn't do that. If Ben has never watched the show and doesn't know how to act in these situations in order to win then.............OH well, he gets to learn the hard way and get voted out. I know they need to make good TV and all, but I wasn't happy with that.

All games have rules and those who enforce them. When a baseball player cusses out an umpire over a call the umpire informs the coach that the player is on thin ice. If a football player cheep shots someone then the umpire informs the coach and puts them on notice. How is this different? Ben hurt his team with his actions and Jeff made it clear to all that he had. Same thing, different game.

Jeff telling him that people that act like that don't win is not expressing a rule. It is an opinion the Jeff should have kept to himself. It is too close to interfering, which Jeff has been accused of before by other players in the past. He'll vehemently say that he didn't but this time they showed him expressing an opinion about the game that could sway others to vote a certain way. Especially in a forum where people are looking for a reason to vote someone out. Ben's head was on the block (to a degree) and Jeff expressing that opinion is not the job of a host.

You assume it comes from him alone. Jeff is more then just host. He is umpire for the games and front man for production. Nor is he just sittiing around on some rock when not on camera. He and the production staff review that day. They update on any player with a medical concern, talk about how the game is playing out, decide how best to use the film time and discuss problems. These problems will include any player they feel may be an issue and how best to address it.

People needed to remember TC is 2-3 hours long. Jeff is tossing out 50-60 questions fishing for questions that strike a nerve. we only get to see those, so its not like he sits there and hammers on one people. Those are just the ones that got a responce from a player or players.
