Episode 4 has a disturbing occurrence that proves Survivor must be staged, or, at least, important parts of it. For those of you who TIVO'd the episode, you can prove it to yourself by examining the last throw in the Reward Challenge frame by frame. There are 2 shots of Dave's winning throw, a long shot followed by a closeup. They can't be the same throw, so which was the real throw? You'll see that the first throw---shown in the long shot-- hits the sand and, perhaps , bounces an inch before rolling on a line which looks outside that which would hit Dave's previous ball. They then switch to a closeup of a ball coming in high which hits Dave's previous ball on the fly and knocks it forward to win the match. These can't be shots of the same throw. The first shot already shows the ball hitting the sand and not bouncing high. There are also problems with the editing. Dave's second to last ball lands side by side to another one of his throws, but when Russel throws his last ball, there are not 2 purple ball side by side. I can understand and tolerate 'sloppy' editing. But when there are 2 different throws that are supposed to be the same throw, something is seriously wrong. The Challenge must have been staged.

So when you say " They don't change the outcome", what 'outcome' are you referring to? What outcome? It looks like there is no 'true' outcome, only the one they choose to create for us. Might as well watch a soap opera. |

So you're saying the cast is a bunch of actors?

All I'm saying is that there may be aspects of Survivor, such as the results of some challenges, that are determined by the Producers, not by the participants. And if that's the case. how do we know that these producers are not also inserting certain storylines, such as suggesting that certain aliances may make better tv?

The Survivors do call themselves CAST MEMBERS which means they are actors. They do get paid for being part of the show. I live near Hollywood and I usually pass by a private employment office that has a sign that says, "Be on a reality show". So unemployed people get those types of jobs too. Plus, like some people here are saying.... that the survivors don't look really hungry. They didn't all chase after the chicken that got away....that was strange if they were truly hungry they would have all chased the chicken and cooked it. The chickens are still in their cages.lol. One guy says he is hungry and then he gets a papaya and uses a super large knife to cut out the seeds and some of the papaya was thrown on the ground. YEA RIGHT! That man is starving....lol.
