| We just talked to Ashley on the phone about her time on Survivor. She had a hard time with that smoothie. It tasted like rotten fish and seaweed, with chunks. Eric and Natalie never took a turn because Dave got his tribe to 5 points first when Ashley couldn’t finish. Russell was her friend. He was nice to her and followed through with everything her told her. He helped her out and never did anything that would cause her to not trust him. On the way to Tribal Council, she asked Liz, “What about Russell?” and Liz said he was fine. Towards the end she started to get some untrustworthy vibe from him, but from day one, she trusted him. When she watched TV and saw the promos before the season started, she was shocked about Russell being a villain. Listen to the call to find out why there wasn’t a “girl alliance” and, if Shambo was “Gilligan” on the island, who was Ginger and Mary Ann? 29 minutes long. 10.5MB. | Survivor's Ashley Reveals Tribe's Weakest Links and Secret for Success One week after (finally) winning its first immunity challenge, the Foa Foa tribe found itself back in the losers' circle on Thursday's Survivor: Samoa. The heavy rain not only kept the entire tribe in close quarters, but it also put a huge damper on any chance of strategizing who to vote off at tribal council. After Ashley Trainer failed to keep her Samoa smoothie down and lost the reward challenge for Foa Foa, the 22-year-old paid the price and walked the plank. Now back on dry land and looking for a "big-girl job," the recent college graduate spoke with TVGuide.com about that gruesome reward challenge, Foa Foa's weakest links and what she would have done differently. TVGuide.com: Were you surprised about being voted off? Obviously it was a very interesting tribal council with the weather and everything. Ashley Trainer: At first, I felt very safe at the tribal council. Then once everyone started talking, I realized they were talking about me [as] who they were going to vote out. But we were all stuck in the shelter — this was the fourth day of rain — and I had no time to strategize even if I had known I was going to get voted out. I got voted out at the worst possible time because I couldn't help myself in any way. To Read More

| Reality News Online- Survivor Samoa Ashley Ashley thought she was in a solid alliance with Natalie and Russell – especially Russell, as she describes to us in this interview. Does she think people conspired against her somehow, even though they were all stuck in the shelter together? What did everybody think of Russell out in Samoa and what does she think of him now? Ashley tells us all of this and more, right here! RealityNewsOnline: Hello, Ashley, and thanks for taking the time to talk to us here at RealityNewsOnline! Ashley: You’re very welcome. RNO: Your CBS bio indicated that you’re a fan of the show. As such, what was your strategy coming in to Survivor? Ashley: My strategy was to try to make the strongest alliance I possibly could. Before coming, I watched people and they made these alliances and everyone’s lying and backstabbing. I wanted to make sure I had the strongest alliance possible and make sure I knew what was going on at all time. Well, I tried. (Laughs.) RNO: Indeed, at Tribal Council, you seemed pretty convinced you were safe. Did you believe you were in any danger? To Read More

| Interview with booted 'Survivor' contestant Ashley - Zap2it Thursday (Oct. 15) night on "Survivor: Samoa," Ashley Trainer's torch was snuffed. See what she had to say about her experience there, including loving Shambo and being shocked by Evil Russell. What were you up to before "Survivor"? Before "Survivor" I actually just recently graduated from a private university and I literally left just a couple week later so it was perfect timing. What did you think of your "Survivor" experience? It was the best experience I've ever had, it was absolutely amazing. Best thing I've ever done, absolutely incredible. Do you think Foa Foa can come back? I'm hoping! I really really hope that Foa Foa can get it together and win some challenges. We're dwindling, [Galu has] voted out ONE person. We are so far behind. The strong point is that we were so close as a tribe. Before I got voted out, we were in the shelter for four consecutive days and we got to know each other so well and I think that we're strong as a team. I don't know how Galu was, obviously, but I feel like that was our strong point. To Read More

| Exclusive: Ashley Trainer dishes on 'Survivor: Samoa' experience - Reality TV World Ashley Trainer had a plan to save herself from elimination, but torrential downpours put the kibosh on that. The 22-year-old spa sales representative from Maple Grove, MN became the sixth castaway eliminated from Survivor: Samoa during last night's broadcast of the CBS reality series. On Friday, Ashley talked to Reality TV World about how she would have targeted Elizabeth Kim as the next to go if she had the chance to strategize; why she thinks her fellow castaways would have been agreeable to the plan; what made her trust Russell Hantz so much; and how she had a hard time keeping down a smoothie made of sea slug guts. Reality TV World: If torrential downpours hadn't hindered your ability to strategize and scramble, what would have been your plan to try and save yourself? Ashley: Honestly, I would have rallied my butt off against Liz. Everyone knew she was untrustworthy. I mean Russell had been after her, he was mad about her calling him out. I would have just pretty much told everyone, "Why would you keep Liz when you don't trust her?" Because trust is a huge thing in this game. Everyone I talked to didn't trust her. No one liked her all around camp. So why keep her? I'm not doing anything to make anyone upset. Pretty much I would have rallied to get her out and not me. Reality TV World: Do you think it would have been successful? To Read More
