| [quote=pawpaw;11263]People have been injuried--sprained knee or ankle, exhusted but NOT unconcious for 45 minutes. Jeff said scariest monment he has seen--he wasn't at the camp when Mike Skunkin fell in the fire. [quote] Pawpaw I guess we must agree to disagree. I said take the injured off the field of play. They could treat him just as easy or even easier if he had been moved away from game structures. The challenge should have continued even if one team was a person short. That has happened in other challenges when a player was injured during the event and unable to help his/her team. Where did the unconcious for 45 minutes come from? BTW, Entertainment Weekly quotes Jeff saying: “the scariest moment I’ve ever had on the show.” Last edited by NomadRon; 10-27-2009 at 10:26 AM. |

| They are all about making "Great TV". I guess if you weigh continuing the challenge vs. making a big scene for the viewers you get the result that they gave. Its all smoke and mirrors in the end. I dunno, I guess the emotional shock for the remaining players was another reason for ending the challenge as well. It really puts one team at a disadvantage in the challenge if they are worrying about their downed team mate. Just food for thought. ![]()
