They all tricked Russell into giving up his immunity idol. I kept waiting for Jef P. to give the speech if anyone has the idol give it up now but he never did. He was surprised when Russell gave it up all of a sudden. Now Russell feels like he has no protection. Hey, I know the feeling.lol. As a single female I have had to fight for my rights all of my life and there have been times where I had nobody but myself to handle a problem in my life. Russell is now with a bunch of strangers who he knows will be going after him because he does have leadership qualities and is not afraid to stick his neck out to try to stay in the game. He is devious and caused Liz to be kicked out of the game whom I was rooting for. I don't have any favorites. I read in another website that when the tribe who went on the sail boat... a lot of them got sea-sick. I had a feeling they would get sea sick when I saw them on the ship. Sea sailing is not for everybody. This info. is from the previous episode. Lucy

Why didnt he use the idol?? He just sat on it looking stupid. Talking a lot to Jaison he should of gave up the idol than Jaison who is the weakest link wouldve gone home. I hope Erik reads this and kicks himself in the rear. What a waste, i guess they dont teach common sense at bartender school.

A little disappointed...pre-TC it was looking like a complete toss-up with scattered voting, then Erik had to open his big mouth. He had me thinking he might have been doing the talking on purpose so he could play the idol knowing everyone could vote for him, so only his vote would count (insane strategy, I know, but I was hopeful. I'm always annoyed by blindsides involving the HII. Actually, I'm always annoyed by blindsides, the HII, and the gratuitous way they're both overrated), but nope. It happened yet again. Next episode looks interesting. I don't really care what happens, I'm just excited to see Russell squirm. ![]()

well usually when they show someone squirming in the previews...they are not the one to go home that week... i think russell is going to make it to the top 4 or 5...maybe further he is the master of puppets! i personally loved the flawless blindside they did on erik...he was truely shocked... blindsideing is part of the game... the expression on erik's face was the highlight of the show for me... especially after all the crap talking he did at tribal... behold the power of russell! ![]() Last edited by lesmoc; 11-07-2009 at 10:34 PM.

Meh...Russell's a good player and all, but honestly I'm tired of watching him go on and on about himself and how on top of the game he is. Whether he makes it past TC next week I'm not concerned about; it'll just be a nice change of pace to see Russell not talk about how stupid everyone else is and how he is the master-manipulator. As far as blindsides go, they are part of the game, but they're overdone, and overpraised. I think last season speaks for itself in terms of the number of times someone was overconfident and then got the boot, with Jeff concluding TC with "nice work on that blindside". It gets boring and predictable after the millionth time. I'd much rather see a vote where no one really knows how it's going to go and it's suspenseful right down to the final vote Jeff reads. But that's just me. ![]()
