call backs for survior 19?

hello i applied for survior 19..was woundering if they have begun making call backs for second interview if you submitted a video and app? I know the second round is sometime in march? and i belive they call you back?

hey mike.
yes, call backs HAVE started. most people from the gabon season claim to not have received a call until the first week in March, however calls should be going out now. they sometimes do a "pre-call" around this time to verify information and make sure the applicant truly is who they claim to be. then they'll start doing "THE CALL" where more applicants will be called and asked basic personality questions "what would you do if...." etc. If they like you after a few more calls your video and application will be pitched in front of producers and they'll pick the group of LA finalists from there. Obviously, from there you go to LA for a week or so- and if you make it through LA they'll probably tell you that they're about 95% sure you've made it. The final confirmation that you made it will most likely come a few days before the Tocantins finale, and you'll find out where you are going during the preview for season 19 during the reunion show.

I'm not a casting employee or anything, but this is the basic info i've gathered from the various fan websites. I know for a fact that Leslie (china), and Ken (Gabon) both received their first call around the first week in March.

I'm currently awaiting mine.

But on the application, it said calls would go out to people for 2nd round interviews i think where you would go to the closest city of your choice and i think 800 people get those?
So maby they are doing it diffrently this time? Dunno hope i just get a call saying Yes or no!

yeah they did away with those "800 person" satellite semi's back during season 12 i think. can't blame them, they save more money doing calls rather than having their casting people fly all over the country. however, the whole barrier of speaking solely over the phone is probably one of the many reasons they recruit so heavily. i'd be willing to bet if they met a lot of us applicants in person they'd like us, but hey--i doubt they'll go back to their old ways. best of luck

Wow, I wish they did go back to that! I would just like a call back or something be it no or a go becuase you do have to do alot with the application process and video!. I am a little like on edge, because this is the first week of march!
