Stef was better LAST season.

Blah... I don't even like Stef this season very much. Last season I was totally rooting for her. What happened? Do you like Stef this year still, anybody, or are you like me?

Exactly greeneyez. That's the only reason she even made the show this year. I wasn't against her last year. In fact, I kinda pulled for her and Bobby Jon...you know...the whole "root for the underdog" thing. This season though it's as if she thinks she was awarded a head coaching job or something due to her masterful skills. Remember her look of disbelief when Jamie wanted to vote her out episode 2? She couldn't believe it was even mentioned. After all, she is Queen Stephenie. Did the other Survivors not realize that? It's as if she doesn't think that she's a lowly contestant...same as all the other Survivors on this season. Somehow she thinks that since they brought her back (ARGH!!), she should be kneeled to and revered as "all mighty"

Since this topic (Steph) just won't die, I have to ask, is there anyone out there who didn't watch Palau? I'd love to get an unbiased opinion of Steph's behavior this season, since it would seem that most of us who saw her last season have very strong feelings about her, one way or the other. Just wondering...

If you have a few minutes, read the other comments made throughout this forum. That will let you know who thinks what about Stephanie. To sum it up, most feel the way you do, including me. There are a couple of people who really like her, but for the most part, everyone sees the change from last season until now the same way you do.

Yeah, I know what the majority of posters at this site think about Steph. My question was if there was anyone who didn't watch Palau who had an unbiased opinion to share. We've all seen the transformation and are, for the most part, put off by her this season. But surely people who don't have the comparison of Steph-present verses Steph-Palau have a different view? Or can put her actions into perspective?

Until last night, I'd never actually spoken with a "true" Steph fan (and really didn't care to!), but while talking with a friend of mine last night, a friend that she was watching Survivor with was a huge Stephenie fan (you better believe that I tried to convince my friend, who happens to be a first time Survivor watcher, that friends like Stephenie fans aren't worth having ). Anyhow...I spoke with this "fan" and she went in to the whole "she's such a strong woman and so deserving..." tyrade. However, when confronted with questions about her entitlement attitude and such, she just kept going back to "she's such a strong woman..." BS! Apparently...that's all anyone can say about Steph. It's the same way on this board.

I'll let you know what opinion of Steph my "first-time Survivor watching friend" has after next weeks episode. It'll be good to have a fresh opinion.
