Post Survivor: Johnny Fairplay Sighting

Hi all,
Just wanted to give you the details of a John "Johnny Fairplay" Dalton sighting that I had in Orlando, Florida recently.
I was a chaperone on a high school marching band trip to Walt Disney World earlier this month. On our final day (November 15), we were having breakfast at the Doubletree Orlando Hotel when a guy came into the restaurant, got his food, and sat down in a booth near the exit. After a few minutes, one of the kids recognized him as Johnny Fairplay. None of the kids would approach him, so finally, the band director went over and introduced herself. She told him that even though she didn't know who he was, there were 80 teenagers who did know who he was, and that if he wanted left alone, she would see to it that he was not bothered. John seemed very flattered and welcomed the kids over so he could sign autographs and have pictures taken with them. He spent at least 30 to 45 minutes with everyone and was a great sport about it all.
Even though Johnny Fairplay might not be the most popular reality TV contestant, he's at the top of my list as a gentleman who made breakfast for a group of Pennsylvania kids something to remember.
Thanks Johnny.
Later,

I doubt he would be that big of a schmuck in real life...He put on act for the show and the wrestling thing he did but he's probably pretty cool in the real world...Yea some of the things he did and said on the Show weren't the best but again, most of that was pre-planned for maximum effect...Glad he was cool with your kids...Thats the way everybody should be even if their 15 Minutes are up or even still going.
