Survivor Prizes?

HI,

I am a new viewer of the show.... I have been watching them on OLN on my dish and simply love the show. I was just wondering if anyone knew what the prizes were on the show. Obviously the winner wins $1 million, andthe runner up wins $100,000. Are there any more prizes? I was just watching the reunion show for Thailand and Jeff Probst made a comment to Jan (who was the third place winner). His comment was "obviously third pays $15,000 more then forth." This peeked my interest because I have been serioulsly contemplating appling for the show, but I know that it would put a financial hardship on my family. If I knew that they payed out the top 8 places or something like that, it might help me make up my mind as far as what I could do.

Any info/links would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a website or link to get the specifics involved (FAQ)..... IE how long does the whole ordeal last (including travelling to and from)? If one is the first voted out, do they have to stay for the duration of the game or are they shipped home?

I tried going to survivor.com and cbs.com for info, but couldnt find any info. I'm assuming since they are accepting applications that they may not have the info either.
