Who would trust Dreamz? You all may think this is stupid, but I cannot say that whomever goes on the Survivor program should lie and cheat and steal and the like! Why, I didn't even like Mookie looking in Yah's bag, and he obviously thought that was something that would/should never happen! Now, here's where the stupid part comes, and if you feel it's stupid, I would repeat it after you told me, just because I believe it to be true:
All ages are watching these episodes, and if this becomes a drag-em-out-and stomp-on-em type show, just like all of the other shows that television has given to the world [and the big screen], those watching shall have their characters changed, and not for the better! If somebody asked me to tell someone a lie for a $million, and I surely need the money, I could not do it! There have been times in my life [when I was younger] when I would have, but today, no way! Seeing Dreamz having that trouble saying "No!" to Yau, tells me he will remember it for a long time, and if the guy's any kind of a man, he should give the truck back to Yau, and in "doing," show how sorry he is he refused to keep his word!
If the people watching the show don't choose to ensure they remain real people, who want the best for each, regardless of the prize money, next thing that's gonna happen is for the shock value someone is gonna have it out with another in a ring maybe to start, and within a few more years, the show will mimic SC L.A., and none of those with values will have a diversion to watch come the Fall, because I don't want to watch something with fighting and rudeness and the like "in yer face" in Survivor, I want to having seen the show come to the final, recognize there were a number of guys and gals who kept their veracity, even though lying and stealing and searching people's clothing and bags, might have given them a leg up on the rest! Heck, we need something teaching those who watch, that being a good dude or gal, is a good thing, not the reverse! |
