| After Dreamz' open lying decietfulness and betrayal of Yau-Man. I have come to believe that african americans are generally untrustworthy. Sad considering I have until now been a proponent of racial equality. He could have, at the least, returned the vehicle. Last edited by Eely Dnar; 05-14-2007 at 02:00 AM. |

| Hi there, Eely! Now, personally, I think you're going a great deal too far with your words, because you are starting with a single incident in "Survivor," and taking it out into the world it seems, as if now this is a new understanding you shall live by, and man, that's way too far out, ya know!? Now believe me, I thoroughly disliked what happened there between Yau and Dreamz! When Yau was making that deal, it was a move that came from thinking things through, and realizing that Dreamz would have been able to win, given his physical abilities -- but it was all out in the open, and Dreamz could have taken it, or said "No way!" but he did make the deal, and he knew the deal was a good move for Yau to make -- but he got himself a $60 thousand car for making the deal, which isn't bread crumbs, you know what I mean? And all we heard from him was that he had to do the right thing, and get that idol to Yau if he won it! Dreamz knew what was right, and he also knew [at least, he would have us believe he knew] that doing that to Yau would fully eliminate him from the $million, because none would vote for him, not only because of Yau and his failure there, but the whole game he was lying and should have been bumped a long time ago! That which hasn't been spoken about here, is whether or not Dreamz will ever get any better at "life" in general, despite his upbringing? He has to come to the conclusion the way he treated Yau-Man was simply telling himself lies, and then going along with the lies he made up! This is maybe one of the last times he'll ever have to learn anything from what he's done, when the truth is, he shafted a friend in the worst of ways! People here talking about a $million! So what! If that money cannot be won by a man or woman who keeps his/her self worth during the game, then that TV show is literally contributing to the darker side of life in this Country, regardless of the amount of money offered! And when the jury begins to vote a winner from the one who lied and cheated the most to get where s/he got. that's when I change the station! We all may have a problem here and there, Eely, but unless we think the best of those we come to meet, and get to know, we've only a few years left, and America will be like the Countries she's trying to steer in another direction! And like your choice -- Must be a black thing! -- that option for America, is too terrible to think about as a valid conclusion to clear reckoning! |

| I don't think that it's too far to go to associate Dreamz actions with his race. I'm sure that he's done irreparable harm to his race. I don't think it's right, but I know it will happen. I've gotten angry emails from people who identified themselves as black, because they thought that Dreamz made them all look bad. I would point out that Earl, and even Cassandra, acted pretty well and honorably in this game and they are both black.

| You gotta be kiddin. Where you from? This has got nothin to do with race, but it has everything to do with racists who jump to short-sighted conclusions. You sound kinda like Lisi when she started her questioning with "eenie, meenie, miney, mo, catch a ........ by the toe." Am I close, Eely. I have a feeling you have grown up (that's a figure of speech) in a very homogenous area....possibly all white people....possibly recently integrated (like within the last 50 years, even tho you may be young, your parents were there and had some influence on you). Time to see the world, read, get some balance and compassion in your life. It may just help the planet's evolution. ![]()

| There is always some moron who wants to blame a whole race for the act of one, Hun, If everyone blamed a race on account of what one person did, all White Men could blamed for the actions of Jeffery Dahmer or all Koreans would be blamed for Virginia Tech. DO YOU SEE HOW STUPID YOU SOUND ? So, before you point the finger at all blacks for the actions of Dreamz, Put your thinking cap on and think before you type |

| darN eEly, Then I guess this statement might also be worth spewing: "I have come to believe that White Americans are generally sore losers." I can also say a thing or two about Lisi and her racist comments. The first was addressed to Lillian - something about Liliana and her "diabolical Mexican mind". Why could it not be simply 'Liliana and her diabolical mind'? Now I am sure the other time she stuck her foot in her mouth, the diabolical nature of her rant eluded a lot of people. How many of you have ever heard of the original eeenie meenie? It goes like this "Eenee, Meenee, Mainee, Mo! Catch a nigger by the toe! If he hollers let him go! Eenee, Meenee. Mainee, Mo! You-are-It! At the final "spar off" Lisi got up and began with eenie meeie. She substituted "nigger" for "liar". Now that shocked the hell out of me. Why? Becasue I knew the original version and its history. Now why would Lisi say that rhyme while angrily stabbing her fingers at the three Black finalists? I think I know. Now if that aint a sore loser. I think Dreamz found himself ina really ticklish position. He should never have made the bargain in the first place. Yau-man seems like a really nice guy but I really don't think he gave the truck away to be nice. he was playing a game and he wanted to win the million. If Dreamz had lived up to his end of the bargain it would have been a pretty smart move. In a strange way I kinda understand Dreamz's predicament and the decision he made to not honour his promise. I am sure he intended to honour his promise but when it really came down to it he just could not put honour before the chance for a better life. That money was like water to a man who has seen too many mirages. I can't really get down on him for that but I am adamant that he should have given back the truck. He should have tried to salvage some dignity. Somebody said that they did not understand why Earl did not vote out Cassandra in the end as he and Yau had formed such a bond. I say to that person, put on your thinking cap. This was a competition and Earl won. Must have been a Black thing. Peace out. mizgunznrozez |

| guyz, let me begin by responding to mizgunz -- just because you know the origin of eenie, meenie does not mean Lisi does -- so you can't judge what's in her mind. On the other hand what Dreamz did was well documented and in everybody's face. In addition, nobody has mentioned that Earl wouldn't have found the third immunity idol without Yau (who gave him the final clue.) Why? because he trusted Earl as a man of honor and integrity and sought to keep his word that they would help each other through. Yau could easily have taken that clue, found the 3rd idol, and won the whole game. But "what good does it do to profit the world -- if you lose your soul"? It does show that "as a rule" the black race is prone to side with other blacks regardless of obligation or integrity. If three white or asian people had done the same thing -- Sharpton would be up in arms and talking boycott. ![]() |

| Zelda, you're right -- there are always morons who want to blame a whole race for the actions of one. Unfortunately that whole race is usually the white one, and it has led white people to feel as if they must always be PC and show no preference to their own race ( while other races see showing preference to their own as community spirit or a response to shared experience). Yau was a man of integrity and should have won -- not Boo (my white "brother"). Survivor should do an all stars featuring the best players who showed integrity during their experience -- As an American I could be proud of that. |

| Let me be proactive here -- I grew up in a predominatly black community, where as a gay white boy i dated black men and hung with sisters -- I have a degree and I am very well read/traveled. My views are not intended to incite, but to show the double standard that exists in our country, my ancestors were poor and lived in Irish shanty towns (ghettos). They worked for scraps and were assaulted by the anti-irish when they came into this country, nobody handed them anything and anybody who now thinks not being a racist means agreeing with everything blacks say or do are foolish and only concerned with their own agenda. We need to stop fighting for power and work together if this country is to survive and prosper--enough divisivness and intimidation -- we need to realize that in the modern world the line is drawn not between black and white -- but between have to0 much and have nothing.
