Denise sucks at life

Why did she lie about her job. Does she not realize that people actually watch her on TV? She played the sympathy card pretty hard with Amanda also. She's just not the brightest person, I guess.

I used to like her, then I was angry at her. Now I feel sorry for her.

What did I miss? I watched the whole show but what was the lie about her job? I remember her talking about how much her job sucked and how she hated it and how little she got paid but what was the lie?

On the reunion show she said that when she got back from filming the show, she lost her job as a lunch lady. She was demoted to being a janitor, working nights. They said that she would be a distraction if she worked in the cafeteria. She made it sound like she was losing money on the deal.

Now, the school says that she got a PROMOTION before she left! That she applied for it and she gets more money now. She got the exact job that she had when she left.

Seems that Denise has a lose grasp on the truth.

The new position paid more and had more hours BUT it was not a Monday-Friday 9-5 job--it included nights & weekends.

Your right, she seemed to return with a higher impression of herself.

Theres a clip of CBS.com with Denise face to face with the school and Julie Chen as the Ref. Denise tried to bully them into giving her old job back with the "fame game" don't you know who I am. You can tell she didn't think it would go this far, they would just give in and give her old job back--afterall, famous people can't be cleaning the crapper. Whats realy sad is this is a small town--EVERYONE knows now, she can't go to work, the store, movies,ect... without everyone saying " theres the lady who lied on survivor"

I'm disappointed in Denise. I was rooting for her all the way. I know how it is working a low paying job and trying to make ends meet, I'm living that now, so i honestly would have loved to see her win the million.

But then she started playing the sympathy card with Amanda, and even at tribal council. I really wished she had kept her mouth shut, then maybe Amanda would have went her way and voted Todd off.

And now, finding out she lied about her position at work. She had to know that the school would have sent out a statement defending themselves? What was she thinking?

I hate the fact that Todd won, but hate it more that she lied.
