Best since season one?

What fans was Jeff Probst talking about that made this the best season since the first one???? So where are the 50 million viewers? None of the chat rooms seem to reflect this thought. In fact I think this was the worst season out of them all. Even the final Tribal felt weird to watch. Am I the only one who felt uncomfortable while watching it? It was very anti-climatic. And why didn't Kathy say " Yes Jeff, I went a little nuts out there because ya'll wouldn't let me take my anti-psychotic drugs to keep me sane." And Chet got one question. I guess that was a touchy subject, same with Tracy. Can't wait till next season. It can only get better ( I hope ).

I think it was the best one since the last "real" survivor series set in Austrailia!

No TV show gets 50 million viewers any more. TV has changed. People here, including myself, have said that this is the best season ever. It's been great! Yes, the ending was bad, but the season was the best ever, I think.

So lets break down the season then:

Survival shelter- good Fans make crappy shelter because they are not a team and suffer--way it should be.

Survival food-poor Every RC was food, James lost 50 pounds in China, 9 in Micronesia, said it was a walk in the park. Hey if people are to lazy to fish or get coconuts let them go hungery--their choice.

Challanges-average Same old song & dance.

Casting-poor Chet, Kathy, do I need to go on?

Unpredictability-average I say average because the first 1/3 of the season-very boring, fans lost every week. Middle of the show the tribe switch--nothing came of it do to injuries and quiters. Last 1/3 saw several good TC, much better but whole season together is average on unpredictability.

Immunity Idol-poor Not to hard to find was it? Once a season is enough, put a time limit for to be used ( not F-5 ) but like 2 weeks after you find it or something. then no one would ever know when it could come out and no just sit on it.

Ponderosa clips-good Hope they keep it

Players now eliminate strong players in episode #2 for later in the game, then lose in IC and can't feed themselves. Instead of letting them suffer for the mistakes survivor lets them off the hook with food challanges every week and tribe switches.

A strong player will never win this show again as it is. The first @7 seasons saw strong players drag weak players along for votes. Now weak alliances drag strong players along for votes--looking back, does anyone actually think that Ozzy or James really had a chance to win this game? The balance that was to far to the left is now to far to the right. A strong player should be able to dominate to get to the F-4 and weaker players should be able to get to the F-4 based on game play.

Look at our F-4, the game is out wit, out last and out play:

Outplay--Means challanges and such--all 4 sucked at it ( Amanda only started winning when up against the other 3 )

Outlast--Means shelter and food, didn't see a lot of that from them

Out wit--Means social game, thats what they did

The winner souldn't be a 1 trick pony, they should at least be good at 2 out 3

Everyone saying its best since Borno, Australia or Africa--remember those seasons? Hard conditions, players who didn't work around camp-gone, not every Guy a body builder or every girl in a g-string.

Ever sense Thailand whenever conditions have gotten hard on the Mactors instead of casting better people ,the response is to make it easier.

This is the worst season ever. With all of the freaks on this last one, it is no longer a family show. What's with all of these women chasing each other? And Parvati says she goes both ways. How can anyone with kids watch this?

I do believe you have presented an accurate analysis of the season but nobody can deny there were some interesting moments.
